Pharmacy Kiosk Installation Technician

Location: On-site at Lansworth Corporate Headquarters – Coon Rapids, MN
Travel: Approximately 20%–40%

Position Overview

Lansworth Pharma SelfServe, the U.S. distributor of the Pharmaself24 automated prescription pickup solution, is seeking a Pharmacy Kiosk Installation Specialist to join our growing team in Coon Rapids, MN.

Depending on installation volume, this role is primarily field-based, responsible for onsite installation, configuration, and customer onboarding of Pharmaself24 kiosks at pharmacy locations. While some responsibilities may overlap with internal project coordination, the core focus of this role is hands-on installation, technical setup, and customer-facing execution at the customer site.

When not traveling, the Installation Specialist will work onsite at Lansworth headquarters supporting pre-staging, lab testing, and installation preparation to ensure successful customer deployments.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Field Execution (Primary Focus)

  • Travel to customer sites to install Pharmaself24 kiosk hardware and software.

  • Connect hardware to customer networks and ensure proper system configuration.

  • Verify kiosk performance and confirm installations meet manufacturer and safety requirements.

  • Conduct onsite training for pharmacy staff on kiosk operation and best practices.

  • Identify and troubleshoot installation-related issues, coordinating with internal colleagues as needed.

Pre-Staging & Technical Preparation

  • Perform pre-staging, configuration, and lab testing of hardware and software prior to shipment.

  • Prepare units for shipment and coordinate delivery logistics with internal teams and riggers.

  • Validate hardware and software readiness before installation.

Implementation & Customer Transition

  • Participate in implementation and installation meetings as needed.

  • Support a smooth transition to customer success and post-install support after go-live.

  • Serve as a backup resource for customer support or service calls when required.

Qualifications

  • Vocational, technical training and/or hands-on experience in field service, installations, or technical operations.

  • Experience installing or supporting hardware-based solutions; pharmacy experience is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of networking, electrical connections, and IT setup (training provided).

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with customers onsite.

  • Ability to regularly lift 50-100 lbs. (with assistance for heavier loads) and move hardware as needed for staging and installation.

  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record, trailer towing experience preferred but not required.

  • Frequent physical activity including climbing, kneeling, crouching, balancing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and working on uneven surfaces.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%–40%.

Work Environment

  • Onsite at Lansworth headquarters in Coon Rapids, MN when not traveling.

  • Field-based at customer pharmacy locations during installations.

  • Collaborative, hands-on team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

This opportunity includes a full benefits package featuring a competitive salary commensurate with experience, health and dental insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and holiday pay. Typical business hours are Monday through Friday, with flexibility required for travel and installation schedules.
